Hello, flower enthusiasts and gifters! Welcome to our cozy corner of the internet. My love for flowers started in the gardens of my grandmothers, right here on the Central Coast of California. Raised in a Portuguese farming and ranching family, I was surrounded by vibrant plants and blooming flowers from a young age. After attending floral design classes at Cal Poly SLO and gaining experience in Los Angeles, I returned to my roots and opened this flower shop in 1985. Over the years, I've honed my skills by attending AIFD Floral Conventions, design shows, and even working for Fiesta Parade Floats in the New Year's Rose Parade. Meeting phenomenal designers from across the country and beyond has been a true blessing.

A Story Close to Our Hearts: More Than Just Flowers
One of my favorite customer stories is about a funeral arrangement for a World War 2 Vet who loved to hunt and fish. After listening to his wife share heartfelt stories, I used a rack of his own antlers to surround his urn, laid his fishing pole across the antlers, and completed the arrangement with native vegetation and local flowers. When I returned to the funeral home, I found his friends sharing hunting and fishing stories beside his urn. Moments like these remind me that I've done my job right, no matter the occasion.
